I have done quite a few gun transfers with Pima Gun as well as with a few other shops in the Tucson area. I picked Pima Guns because of their proximity to the hospital where my wife is having chemo as well as the fact that they were cheaper than the comeptition ;=) I will go back anytime I need another transfer. My only complaint is that they do not carry the sort of Cowboy/Western Guns that I am addicted too. The staff has always been attentive, professional, and simply nice to deal with -- and when a problem arose they dealt with it quickly and in a professional manner. You would have a hard time meeting a nicer group of people. Steve Tapia will always be first on my list to deal with.
I have done several gun transfers with Steve. I would just like to say you would have a hard time meeting a nicer guy. Steve Tapia will always be first on my list to deal with. Sincerely, Tim Ward.
Pima Gun is a great shop. I recently purchased a new Glock 36 from Pima Gun and their regular price was the same as the supposedly "sale" price at 2nd Amendment across the street. I stood at the counter in 2nd Amendment for almost ten minutes and nobody even spoke to me much less offered to help. Pima Gun gave me a great value for my trade-in and were friendly and professional.
Hi, Do you still sell the Springfield Arms 9mm semi auto compact version pistol with the 2 clips 10 and 16 rd.? How much are they? Will you be at the Aug 16th & 17th Crossroads gun show?
Thanks,
Al D
Have done business with pima guns bought - DPMS-ar - 15 from steve at a gun show , He had the best price i could find !!! And beleive me I look before I buy,
Steve is also a very nice guy,
Bought from Pima Gun as well as many transfers. I've watched Steve in action. Straight up guy, no sales gimmicks and no smoke and mirrors. Seen him turn one guy down outright on a thousand dollar purchase. Prices, in my opinion, are the best in town.
Have been going to Pima Guns for about a year. Never had a bad experience. Knowledgeble staff, very friendly. They make an effort to know every cusomer's name. Prices are better than at the much larger Second Amendment (where the sales staff is inattentive and ignorant) and at the incredibly snobby and expensive Murphy's Guns. Steve Tapia is the nicest and loosest gunseller in Arizona and he knows his stuff. His enthusiasm makes you enthusiastic, too. Steve has special ordered obscure guns for me and also is a great transfer agent. This is a gun guy's shop where you usually get into a conversation with another customer and the staff , swap stories and learn from others.Selection is good for a small, personalized store, and if he doesn't have it he'll bust ass to get it for you quickly at a very fair price. Give this guy your business, we don't have anyone like him in Tucson.
I have had the pleasure of doing several transfers here. One was very difficult, resulting in their patiently holding a rifle for me for a couple of months while I had to work out a problem with the seller in another state. Pete and his staff are always friendly, well informed, and accomodating to a fault. Fair prices and unsurpassed customer service. Gun dealers just don't get better than this.
Pima Gun is the best! Steven and Pete are two of the most knowledgeable guys out there about guns. They both go out of their way to help you find what your looking for. Their customer service hands down is the best out there. I would only buy from them.
