In 2003, the Tucson Field Office of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the USDA Forest Service's Coronado National Forest and the Arizona Game and Fish Department joined as co-sponsors.Along with public land users and organizations (e.g. National Rifle Association, shooting clubs, conservation organizations, hiking and other recreational user groups, etc.), representatives from the Arizona Governor's Office, Congressional representatives, and other affected parties.

The Range has been transformed into a NRA Certified Range. We now have 5,10,25,50,and 100 yard Ranges. Three of the 10 benches (#10,11,and 12)are 50 yards only. We allow all types of firearms to be discharged except .50 BMG and Automatic Firearms. Shotguns are okay! They can be discharge into the 50-yard berm (not at our target frames).
We are now open Fri.,Sat.And Sunday 0800-1730 year round.
We have six diferent types of targets available all are only 25 cents each. We have spotting scopes to rent for $3.00,$1.00 safety glasses to rent,$1.00 earmuffs to rent,$3.00 benchrest to rent,Free Foam Earplugs! We also have 50 cent bottle water when it is available.

This shooting range is located in the Tucson mountain park located on Kinney Rd. You take Ajo (86) west to Kinney Rd then turn right till you get to the entrance to the range.
