This is a fast-paced class that will leave your barrel red hot.
This class takes off where Carbine Level One ended.

This class is not for everyone. You will get dirty during these drills as you learn up to date tactics that work in the real world.

Fourteen students attended two days of defensive shooting classes taught by Steve Fisher of Michigan Defensive Firearms Institute. MDFI was invited by Tucson Guns and Western Artifacts, a gun store on Tucsons East Side. The classes were held north of Tucson at the Pima Pistol Club Shooting Range. The two days were divided into four parts, day one was Defensive Pistol Level Two, followed by a Low Light Pistol Class in the evening. Day Two was Defensive Carbine Level Two followed by an full evening of Low Light Carbine instruction. All the students learned a lot and skills improved. Here are four reviews of the two days of training along with some links and info on the instructors and hosts. If these reviews make you curious about firearms training, do some research and plan to attend a class. Firearms training is great fun, and it could possibly save your life one day

After a full day of defensive pistol instruction we started low light / night shooting tactics and practice. Of course it is difficult to take photographs at night, but one of the students let the photographer use a night vision device to take some of (the green) photos of the students shooting at night

The Low Light Carbine class started at dusk on day two. We started with safety, of course. After some specific instruction on range rules for this night shoot Steve demonstrated methods of holding and using hand held lights with carbines

The GSG-5 in cal .22lr is a product of German Sport Guns (GSG) in Ense-Höingen / Germany. The GSG 5 is an identical replication of the MP 5, except one great thing: Its a 22 cal. Because of the low cost of ammunition the GSG 5 makes a perfect plinking rifle, training rifle or a serious varmint hunting rifle. Nothing of its kind has ever been introduced in the United States. The user will be impressed with its weight and performance. If you are a varmint hunter you will be encouraged by all the options the GSG-5 has to offer with its railing system, faux suppressor and easy change magazine. For training purposes, the GSG-5 is a low-cost alternative for Law Enforcement agencies and departments that use MP5s in the field.

Bob and his staff are absolutely wonderful. They are all very knowledgeable and helpful. I'm definitely enjoying the expanded shop and I LOVE the fact that we have a neighborhood gun shop!

My recent trip to Tucson Guns & Western Artifacts was greatly enjoyable. The staff was incredibly insightful and very helpful, and the combination of these two greatly affected my decision to buy from them.

I'm a lifelong shooter who moved to Tucson last year. Tucson Guns & Western Artifacts is the first gun shop that I visited in town, and I think that the staff there is top-notch. I traded in my wife's .22 automatic for a used Colt .45 revolver. Both the price offered for the .22 and the price asked for the .45 were very fair.

The next day I took my wife over so that the staff oould go over the .45 with her and give her some handling tips.

I will certainly go to the shop again.
