Tan AR Furnature |
Sun Nov 18 2007 |
| Coyote, Dark Earth, Sand or just plain Tan, it is a good color for desert environments. We had a chance to take some picture of a few AR15s with tan furnature. They look great, but they serve a purpose too. As these pictures show, a few items in a tan color really can hide a rifle in sand and rock environments. |

The stock, pistol grip, magazine, grip panels, sling and weapon light / forward grip are all dark eart (tan) on this AR and really help it blend into the rock background

This larger rifle is still quite hidden with just the addidtion of a coyote stock, pistol grip, magazine, sling, rail panels and forward grip. It's possible to wrap or paint the scope or use a scope cover t protect and conceal it

Their shadow is tough to cammo, so know your position, all the tan furnature available on your gun will still cast a big black shadow.

Usually components in color cost the same as black, sometims it's a few dollars more. But it's worth trying if you are thinking about building up a tactical / defensive rifle.
