More shots of the US made G17L and an older G24C. Initially the 17L had three holes in the top of the barrel and a corresponding slot in the slide, however later production pistols deleted the holes. The Glock 24C barrel vents are different from the Glock l7L. The G24C has a series of four oval vents in the top of the barrel. They are 1 1/8 inches to 2 7/8 inches back from the muzzle.
