Los Vaqueros - Arizona Historical Shootist Association -
We are one of the oldest Cowboy Action Shooting clubs in Arizona, started in 1984. We are SASS and NRA sanctioned. Our monthly matches used to be held at "The Wash" , on Forest Service land south-east of Tucson, until bad terrain and extreme fire conditions forced us to move to Tucson Rifle Club.
We currently share the facilities with three other CAS clubs. Together with the other Tucson Area clubs, we also make up The Southern Arizona Cowboy Action Shooters Association whose volunteers host BorderTown - The SASS Arizona State Championship.
We like our matches to be "Big, Close, and Fast", No target is too big or too close to miss. We shoot on the 3rd Saturday of each month, sign-up at 8AM, start at 9AM during the Winter months, 7AM & 8AM during the Summer. Come on out and shoot with us, we always welcome new Pards'. Juniors always shoot monthly matches free too!
Annual Membership Dues:
Single - $12.00 Family - $18.00
We usually ask that you shoot a couple of matches with us before you join. We just want you to make sure that Los Vaqueros is really the club for you before taking your money.
Match Fees:
Members - $6.00 Non-Members - $8.00
Also, at our matches, you can sign up in your regular category, and for just $6.00 more, shoot again in whatever style you want in our Open category - where the Real Gun-Fight is.
Los Vaqueros T-Shirts in red or blue are available. We also have Henley shirts in tan. Most sizes are still available!
