We shot the Tactical Rifle Match at Pima Pistol Club in April 2008. It was hot but not as hot as it will be in a few months. This was a rifle only match, no pistols allowed. So while it did not allow practice in transitions to pistol at close range, it did allow (require) skillfull manipulations of the rifles in a timely manner. Our group shot three AR15s One AK47 and a full auto 9mm AR. Only one AR15 shooting steel case ammo had any trouble all the other guns ran just fine http://www.tucsonshooting.com/Articles.php?action=detail&g=content1208587180&pid=966
